The Angels of Hope Mental Health Center is a privately owned organization that has as its primary mission the strengthening and improvement of the family system. This is accomplished through direct family involvement that preserves the integrity of the family within its community.
We utilize an intensive family centered service model that offers practical, experiential services that improve and or develop effective parenting and communication skills. The goal is to promote healthy attachment, pro-social skills and a sense of belonging, competence, independence and value in family members.
Services are provided in the family’s own home and environment and includes crisis intervention, individual and family counseling, education about child development and appropriate expectations, and wrap-around services.
We are committed to reducing out of home placements and improving the life of the client through an innovative, evidence-based family treatment model. It will be using evidence-based due to the increased emphasis on accountability to clients and third-party payers, such as insurance companies and government agencies, and its desire to further the knowledge base of the profession. Using this practice, the worker will evaluate the appropriateness of a certain approach for a particular disorder by considering the results of treatment outcome studies. Social workers will also assess clients individually to determine that they are responding in the desired way to the intervention.
Our staff members believe that the family home provides the optimal environment in which most clients can thrive, and develop. It is also believed that maintaining troubled clients within their homes through intensive treatment efforts benefits not only them and their families, but also the interests of the larger community.
